Featuring historical photographs from the period when Chiyoko Yamaguchi Sensei learned Reiki from Chujiro Hayashi Sensei, a direct student of the founder, Mikao Usui Sensei.
Tadao Yamaguchi Sensei will also explain the differences between traditional Japanese Jikiden Reiki and Westhern Reiki.
Book: Women in Reiki
Silke Kleemann and Amanda Jayne, both Dai Shihan 大師範
Their book is the first to focus on the women who practised Reiki in the 1930s and beyond. It tells the stories of Chiyoko Yamaguchi and other women who incorporated Reiki into their everyday lives and passed it down through generations.
The book offers a deeper understanding of Reiki and provides a closer connection to the culture from which Reiki emerged.
